Overview
Experience one of beautiful Cambodia’s national parks, known as
Phnom Kulen mountain, the very natural tourism site that hides its wonderful
waterfall, mystery in the lychee trees and incredibly explore the wondrous
expertly carvings on the rock panels before the beginning of Angkor Era
flourished and grab countryside sightseeing on the way.
Itinerary
We
depart hotel at 8.30am and enjoy sightseeing of rural countryside with 1 hour
and half driver to visit one of Cambodia’s best National Parks known as Phnom
Kulen (lychee mountain). This hill used to be the ancient capital city and in
802AD - after King Jayavarman II was initiated as the royal “God of the King”,
he declared independence from Java which then gave birth to the independent
Khmer empire. We’ll also hike to a nearby waterfall where we can refresh, swim
and relax. The waterfall has two levels. The first level is 4 to 6 meters high
and 10 to 15 meters wide, and the second level is 15 to 20 meters high and 6 to
8 meters wide, depending on the season. Near the waterfall is a small
jungle-covered laterite temple called Kraol Remeas temple we can take a walk to
Preah Ang Thom.

is outside the Angkor temples therefore you purchase 20USD separate ticket to enter
National Park)
