PROGRAM
Day 1: Angkor Thom & Angkor Wat (B /-/D)
Breakfast In Hotel
After breakfast, we’re heading off to explore
the ancient city of Angkor Thom: including the South Gate decorating with giant
faces which religiously believed, amazing Bayon temple with more than 200 faces
are smiling in mystery, continue visit Baphuon, Terrace of the Elephant and the
Terrace of Leper King. Continue to visit Ta Prohm temple which is a
wonderful combination of human genius and natural beauty covering by massive
trees for many centuries.
In the afternoon, we continue witness the
world’s heritage site at Angkor Wat. The temple complex covers 81 hectares and
is comparable in size to the Imperial Palace in Beijing. Its distinctive five
towers are emblazoned on the Cambodian flag and the 12th century masterpiece is
considered by art historians to be the prime example of classical Khmer art and
architecture. Unlock the stunning bas-reliefs, which depicting scenes from the
epic Ramayana and the Churning of the Ocean of Milk.
Evening: enjoy dinner followed by Khmer traditional Apsara
perfomance
Day 2: Banteay Srey & Rolous Group (B /L/-)
After
breakfast, we drive beyond Angkor Complex through the Preah Dark village
to visit the intricately carved and well-preserved Banteay Srey temple that is
one of visitor’s favorite temples. On way, we stop to visit interesting daily
activities of local people. Resume visit Banteay Samre which know as the serene
temple with interesting history. Enjoy lunch at Khmer Traditional House.
Afternoon,
we continue to the Rolous Group. The monument of Roluos was served as the
capital of Indravarman I (reigned 877-89), is among the earliest large,
permanent temples built by the Khmers and marked the beginning of Khmer
classical art. PreahKo erected by Indravarman I in the late 9th century
dedicated by the King to his ancestors in 880. Bakong is the largest and most
interesting of the Roluos group temples, with its active Buddhist monastery
just to the north of the east entrance and Lo Lei temple.
Day 3: Kompong
Phluk & Transfer out (B /-/-)
In
morning, we’re
going to explore Kompong
Phluk village that is located at the
edge of Tonle Sap Lake , we then embark wooden boat
to discover amazing stilted houses standing over 8-10 high poles and witness
village life animated by the activities of fishing, observe how people use lake
to survive and learn about this Asian ecosystems .
